I’m starting a killing diet
Today I decided to give diet a try, even though maybe it’s not the best moment because I’m still a bit sick. But exercises alone do not seem to cut it.
The program for today is the following:
Breakfeast – cup of black coffee
Lunch – boiled spinach, 2 boiled eggs, 1 fresh tomato
Dinner – 1 large steak, salad with lemon
My lunch looked like this:
Tasty no? I need to go through this anyway, because almost two years of sitting lifestyle reflected rather badly on me. I never expected it will come to this.
The most serious problem with the diet was that I have no idea how to prepare the stuff it contains. Boiled spinach? My mom tried to explain it to me but, as Matteo put it, it’s more complicated that building a power plant. Fortunately the restaurant agreed to prepare it, after some hesitation.
“Breakfast – cup of black coffee

You’re out of you mind? Coffee for breakfast?
Breakfast – eat as kings do to have energy for the whole day (for example what you wrote for lunch plus cereals)
Lunch – eat as middle class do – fish, poultry with tonnes of vegetables
Dinner – eat as beggars do or best you can do eat nothing.
And tonnes, tonnes and tonnes of vegetables and drink a lot of water – least 3-4l per day.
I agree with Przemek – eat a lot for breakfast and nothing or hardly anything in the evening. Unless… you are indeed “starting a killing diet” — that is a diet that is going to kill you ;-). IMHO the title should say ‘a killer diet’.
Ok a killer diet then:)
Przemek what you say is perfectly right, and a good idea for eating _after_ I finish this diet. But currently the menu is not supposed to be healthy at all, rather on the contrary.
Because the point of this particular diet is that you have no usual sources of energy. Therefore body is supposed to enter a state where it burns what it retained before (ketoza). Coffee gives additional boost. But there is no energy and memory performance goes down etc. (hopefully it’s temporary).
The above may even be true because I indeed feel like shit. The diet is 13 days. Then go back to something more civilized.
[…] I didn’t have time for sailing and actually other than occasional horse riding didn’t do much of an activity. In the end of the year I felt for the first time in my life that I’m not as slim as I used to be. But I kicked off a killer diet and went back to an acceptable state in 13 days […]
