2006 summary

I’m terribly late with summing up the previous year, not to mention planning anything for the 2007. That is because I was lazy during Christmas and then got distracted by Mol’s case, which got me depressed quite badly and made all the matters of mine seem trivial (which I know they are, but usually I enjoy them anyway).

Anyway, a year ago in January I was planning to do the following:

Think out something new and big

Three attempts being made, but no deliverable so far. But be patient.

Leave Poland (for a while), backpacking in the summer - obligatory

I visited only three new countries in 2006 compared to 8 in 2005, however, these were big countries: US, China, and Russia. And China was pure backpacking experience. Duration-wise it was not such a big success but I expect to more than make up for it this year.

Help people with true potential, if they come across

Not really. Failed. I visited the business volunteering congress not long ago, but I haven’t acted on the idea yet.

Manage language abilities

It was a low ball because I like learning languages. In 2006 I started to learn Chinese (but now I neglect it a bit) and learned Russian (reached communicative level more or less).

Make more progress with this web site

Well. I wrote some articles. The gallery script still sucks.

Continue dancing lessons

I did, for half a year, then I switched to horse riding.

Earn much more:)

Ok, done, the easiest part.

Finally get a driving license, if circumstances allow (last priority)

Circumstances did not allow. Moved to next year. Still last priority. Horse riding better, even though the issue is getting urgent, now that I have the parking place.

What’s still to be done is to make some resolutions for this year. It’s also late for this. But shouldn’t be hard, because things seem to be moving in the right direction.
