Welcome to Ukraine
And so almost all of last week I spent working in Kiev, which was actually my first ever visit to the Ukraine.
I don’t have to mention that I was more than happy for the opportunity, though as it turned out that I am still to see more of the country than the airport and the hotel. That’s the beauty of short and intensive projects, which are still my favorite ones, anyway.
My companions enjoyed the stay far less than myself, which is probably due to their having more private lives while less inclination for travelling. Also we were out of luck in finding some acceptable food, starting from miserable breakfest served in the hotel to less than impressive dishes in restaurants we were able to find.
Only in late evenings we could relax a bit in the restaurant..
